Premium, Space or Travel – which rear tent is right for you?
Our rear tents follow the same basic principle but offer different levels of space and equipment.
Premium is the top model in the range and provides the largest dimensions and maximum usable floor area. Its angled walls create additional freedom of movement inside the tent. A large rear window with flexible blackout cover, two side windows with mosquito netting and blackout blinds, a tunnel-style entrance on the right and a front panel that can be rolled up to form a sun canopy make Premium particularly versatile.
Space combines generous additional room with practical everyday features. It also features two windows with mosquito netting and blackout covers, a tunnel-style entrance on the right and a front wall that can be rolled up and used as a sun canopy.
Travel is the straightforward solution when you primarily need a protected space behind the vehicle. It attaches quickly to the tailgate using Velcro. The tunnel entrance on the right can be completely removed with a zip, while two windows with mosquito netting can be closed from both sides. Travel works particularly well as a changing room, shower area or additional protected space.

Made-to-fit tailgate tents for campervans and vans
The shape and dimensions of a tailgate vary considerably from one vehicle to another. That's why our rear tents are not simply generic sheets of fabric suspended from the back of a van.
They are designed to fit the relevant manufacturer and vehicle model.
This allows the tent to follow the vehicle contours much more closely and creates a more practical connection between the open tailgate and the additional space behind the campervan.

Quick installation without tools
A rear tent should create additional space, not an additional construction project.
That's why the tents are designed for quick, tool-free installation.
Premium and Space are draped over the open tailgate and secured at the sides using magnets. Travel uses a quick Velcro attachment to the tailgate.
Ground fixing varies according to the model. The Travel version, for example, is secured using guying ladders and pegs.
The tents can therefore be set up quickly when needed and packed away again just as easily when it's time to continue your journey.
Robust fabric made in Germany
Premium and Space use a special Outguard fabric made in Germany.
The material is made from 100% polyester, weighs approximately 190 g/m² and has a hydrostatic head of 2,000 mm.
It combines reliable weather protection with high UV resistance and is designed for repeated outdoor use.
The Space fabric also offers permanent resistance to mould growth – an important property for equipment that is regularly exposed to changing weather conditions when travelling.
Travel likewise uses a robust, waterproof and mould-resistant fabric made in Germany.
More usable space without a large awning
One of the biggest advantages of a rear tent is how efficiently it uses the vehicle itself.
The open tailgate already provides part of the roof structure. The tent then encloses the space underneath and behind it.
This creates a useful additional area without having to set up a large awning next to the campervan.
Depending on the model, the space can be used as a changing room, protected storage area, shower area or simply as additional living space.
Particularly on compact campervans, a relatively small piece of equipment can make a noticeable difference to everyday life at the campsite or stopover.
Windows, ventilation and privacy
Premium, Space and Travel all provide ways to combine daylight and ventilation with privacy.
Premium and Space feature two side windows with mosquito netting and blackout options. Premium additionally has a large rear window with flexible blackout protection.
Travel also features two windows with mosquito netting that can be closed from both sides.
This means you can adapt the rear tent according to the weather and intended use – whether you want ventilation, daylight or more privacy.
A practical shower area behind the campervan
A rear tent can also provide the privacy required for showering outside the vehicle.
Combined with suitable camping shower equipment, the protected space beneath the tailgate can be used as a practical shower area.

Compact when travelling
When the rear tent isn't required, it can be packed away and stored inside the campervan.
All models are supplied with a transport bag, making it easy to keep the tent together and stow it with the rest of your camping equipment.
