The replacement battery offers extra battery power . The battery is simply plugged in and can be easily replaced. So you don't run the risk of your battery giving up the ghost just when you want to take a shower.
The battery has its own USB-C connection and can be charged outside of the shower. So it always goes on seamlessly :-)
